When was the last time you asked a prospectice client what they thought about your website…while they were on it?
Understanding and implementing web analytics is a full time job. I often read Occam’s Razor by Avinash Kaushik to stay up with the latest advances and recommendations in regards to web analytics. However, I understand that legal professionals barely have time to get to all of the demands of being a lawyer, let alone diving in head first into web analytics.

There are many free and paid solutions out there to choose from and implement on your firm’s web site. By asking just a few basic questions, you can ascertain quite a bit about what is working and what isn’t on your site. Think about it…you pay money to build your site, to drive people to it, and depend on it to deliver you clients. Doesn’t it make sense to find out what the people who use it are thinking? Wouldn’t you like to know if there are small changes you could make to improve your site’s performance?
