Google Voice officially opened up to the public yesterday, no more invitations required.
For those of you that aren’t familiar with Google Voice, here is an excerpt from the Google Voice Blog:
A little over a year ago, we released an early preview of Google Voice, our web-based platform for managing your communications. We introduced one number to ring all your phones, voicemail that works like email, free calls and text messages to the U.S. and Canada, low-priced international calls and more
Google voice is not only free, but it’s an excellent option for law firms that are looking for a better communication management system. With a robust set of features including getting having one number that rings anywhere, getting transcribed voice messages delivered to your email, and more it’s really a great service for small businesses looking for enterprise level communication systems.
You can register for a Google Voice number here.
