New LinkedIn Profiles

LinkedIn is rolling out new profiles. You can check out a new sample profile here (I hope the new profiles maintain the sweet “hover position toggle”).

Aside from the new design, it’s difficult to see whether or not the new profiles will have enhanced functionality.

If you’re on LinkedIn and you’re not really seeing the benefit, ask yourself what you’re doing there. Auto-feeding blog posts? Soliciting for new business? Yes? Well no wonder.

Using LinkedIn for professional networking only works to the extent that you actually use it for networking. Surprise!
