While there are many ways that people use the Internet, one of the most widespread and fastest growing is as a local business directory. Search engines are also moving in a more local direction. That is why in addition to taking advantage of these local search ranking factors, it’s important to constantly be searching for new ways to increase your law firm’s local online presence. In fact, some marketing consultants are placing more emphasis on local results than organic listings. While I don’t advocate ignoring organic listings, I certainly encourage law firms to take advantage of local listings.
